On June 15, 2008 Eric Macy of Nonik Technologies based in Hillsdale, earned the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer designation with a specialization in security (MCSE:Security).
To earn this certification Eric attended an intense sixteen day class in Atlanta, Ga. which included taking and successfully passing a series of eight exams. These sessions were attended by thirty IT people from all over the US, UK and Bermuda. Not all attendees managed to pass and attain certification. Included were four core exams on networking systems, an exam on client operating systems, a security design exam, and two security specialization exams.
The Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer status is the premier credential of IT professionals world wide. Nonik Technologies, under Eric�s leadership, designs and implements computing network systems that are based on the Microsoft Windows operating system and Windows Server System software.
Eric moved to Hillsdale in 1996, after earning his Engineering degree from the University of Illinois. Until 2002, when Eric founded Nonik Technologies, he was an IT and manufacturing process automation engineer with Bose. In addition to supporting several Bose manufacturing plants in North America, Nonik provides computing network installation and support for several Hillsdale county small and medium sized businesses.
Using his experience base, extensive IT technology training (such as this Microsoft Systems Engineer Certification) Eric provides leadership for multiple clients as they grow and operate their IT systems in a secure, reliable and cost controlled way.
